A procession of fashionable Parisian personalities crosses a deep brown field in Leonetto Cappiello’s exuberant advertisement for Ferrari pasta. Brilliant red, violet, yellow, green, ochre, and black costumes distinguish the individual figures, while enormous yellow lettering announces noodles, macaroni, and egg and vegetable pasta above them.

Created in Paris between 1901 and 1904, the poster combines celebrity caricature with the clarity of commercial graphic design. Several of the figures carry packages of Ferrari products, turning an elegant gathering of actors and performers into a playful endorsement. Cappiello surrounds the group with monumental typography, allowing the human procession and the product name to share equal visual weight.
