Sudan Chameleons — Brehm’s Tierleben

Sudanchamäleon presents three chameleons among dense tropical foliage, combining careful zoological observation with an unusually animated natural setting. One animal projects its remarkable tongue toward an insect above, while another watches from the branches and a large green chameleon moves across the foreground with its tail curled into a tight spiral.

Layered leaves, branches, rocks, and delicate vegetation surround the reptiles in muted greens, ochres, yellows, and earthy browns. Fine surface detail gives particular emphasis to the chameleons’ textured skin, independently expressive eyes, gripping feet, and distinctive tails.
